Thilakan is considered as the one of  the best actors in malayalam cinema of his generation .He is well known for method acting techniques . Thilakan was born in 1934 as the son of Kesavan and karthiyayini his son shammi thilakan is also a famous artist in the Malayalam film industry  . his famous works are yavanika , panjagni , thaniyavarthanam ,moonnam pakkam, kireedam ,perumthachan,spadikam , usthad hotel he got padmashree award in 2009 and two time national special jury mentions for ekandham and usthad hotel and also got national award for best supporting actor for rithu bedham most importantly he got 9 state award too and he also got 2 film fare award as well . He died in 2012 at the age 77 he is considered as the one of the best actors in malayalam cinema ever produced


MAMMOOTTY


Panaparambil muhammed kutty ismail better known as Mammootty is also considered as the one of the best actors in malayalam cinema ever produced . mammootty was born in 1951. Mammootty acted over 400 filims in 6 languages including malayalam,tamil,telugu, kannada  ,hindi and english

He is the only actor who acted as a hero in 6 languages . His son dulquer salman was also a well defined actor in the industry . he started his career in 1971 who is going to complete 50 years in cinemas which is a great thing that many can’t do . he got 3 national award for best actor only amitab bachan, kamal hassan and mammootty have 3 national award for best actor. And he also has 12 filmfare awards  that is most by an actor and had 7 state awards for best actor as well . He is well known for his variation of roles. MOHANLAL


Mohanlal vishwambaran is known as mohanlal.mohanlal is considered as one of the best actors in Malayalam cinema . Mohanlal was born in 1960 he is also a well known film producer . He acted in 5 languages malayalam ,tamil, telugu, kannad, hindi  he is known for his natural acting skill and ease in acting. He one of the most admirable actor across the country he started his career from 1978 from the movie manjil virinja movie .He got padmashree award 2 national award for the movie vanaprastham and he also got 7 state awards and 6  filmfare  awards for best actor he currently going to direct a movie called barroz . mohanlal is commonly called complete actor  his most known works are thaniyavarthanam,thanmathra, spadikam, kireedam, sadhayam, he also got lieutenant colonel for his performance for his movie kurukshethra he is considered as one the great in modern era .arguably  best actors in Malayalam cinema 



JAYARAM



Jayaram subramaniam popularly known as jayaram .Born in 1965 he was one of the  best actors  in Malayalam cinema ever produced. Once he was called janapriya nayakan . He is the only actor who had a blockbuster in 5 consecutive years .Now he is more active in tamil , telugu movies as character roles . He started his career as a mimicry artist and he is also interested in chenda percussionists . He married Parvati. She was also a well known actress . His son Kalidas jayaram is also an well known actor who acted in malayalam and tamil languages.  After college he joined kalabhavan mimicry troop later come to industry to the movie of padmarajan he got padmashree in 2011  and he also got 2 state awards and 4 filmfare awards he even got 1 award from tamil industry as well definitely he is one of  best actors  in Malayalam cinema ever produced.


SURESH GOPI


Suresh Gopi was born in 1958 as the son of Gopinath and Ganalakshmi in Alappuzha . He is also an anchor and playback singer as well . He was also a politician and was nominated as  member of parliament in the Rajya Sabha . He is also considered as one of the best actors  in Malayalam cinema ever produced . He started his career as a child artist in 1968 and later he came to the mainstream in 1983 . He got  national award and state award for the movie kaliyattam. He married to radhika nair in 1990 he had 5 children's his son gokul suresh is also an famous young actor in industry. He is one of the  best actors  in Malayalam cinema . Not only he is just great actor he  is also a great human being as well he is a Rajya sabha member of the bjp party 


SATHYAN


Sathyan was born in 1912. He was popularly called sathyan mash .he is well known for his realistic acting that time he was arguably one the  best actors in Malayalam cinema at that time he is well known for is method of acting he acted in 2 languages he even produce 2 movies he got 2 state award and  1 filmfare award  . Sathyan's entry into the industry started by doing the role of police officer.at starting of his career he did many dramas that made him interested in acting. His entry to the film industry was unexpected . surely he is one of the best actors  in Malayalam cinema . he died in 1971 at the 57 in chennai


 MURALI

 

Muralidharan Pillai who is popularly known as murali born 1954 . He is the son of Krishna pillai and devaki amma .. He was considered as one of the We can simply say he is one of the best actors  in Malayalam cinema ever produced .  He started his film career as villain role later he changed to character role his breakthrough character was from the movie adharam . More than an actor he was also chairman of the sangeetha academy till 2006 .  He also tried his luck in politics as well but it was not successful. He got a national award for best actor in 2011 for the movie neythukaran  . He also got 6 state awards and 1 film fare award as well  .  We can simply say he is one of the best actors  in

JAYASURYA


Jayasurya is one the most talented young actor in mollywood . He is  well known for his method acting and versatility . He started his cinema career as a junior artist; his first appearance is in the movie Pathram . His first movie as leading character was in the movie oomapenninu uriyada payyan. His most recognized characters were from the movie su sudhi vathmeekam , njan merikutty , trivandrum lodge, captain ,kumbasaram ,appothikkiri etc.. he is also one of the best actors  in Malayalam cinema ever produced. He has done more than 100 movies he got several awards he got national award for the category  special jury award for the movie su sudhi vathmeekam .and he also got 2 state awards and 2 filmfare awards as well.
